St. Faustina Kowalska, the apostle of Divine Mercy, recorded in her diary that St. Joseph appeared to her and asked her to pray three prayers and the Memorare to him every day. What She Experienced
In her Diary (entry 1203), St. Faustina wrote:
"Saint Joseph urged me to have a constant devotion to him. He himself told me to recite three prayers and the Memorare once every day. He looked at me with great kindness and gave me to know how much he is supporting this work of mercy. He has promised me this special help and protection. I recite the requested prayers every day and feel his special protection."
The simplicity of this encounter is what makes it so powerful for Joseph Prays. He did not deliver a lengthy message. He did not ask for a shrine or a feast day. He asked a young nun to pray three prayers and the Memorare every day, and he promised to protect her if she did.
That is Joseph. He asks for something small and gives something immeasurable in return. He asked for daily prayers. He promised special help and protection. And St. Faustina, one of the most important saints of the twentieth century, said she felt his protection every single day.
He looked at her with great kindness. That detail alone tells you everything about the kind of father he is.
