Nine days of prayer to the father who has never refused a request.

TLDR
The traditional nine-day novena to St. Joseph, prayed for centuries by Catholics seeking his intercession for every kind of need. Each day includes a reflection on one of Joseph's virtues, a daily prayer, and the Memorare to St. Joseph. St. Teresa of Ávila said she never asked him for anything he did not grant. This novena is how you ask.
History
The tradition of novenas goes back to the nine days the Apostles spent in prayer between the Ascension of Jesus and the descent of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. The nine-day novena to St. Joseph has been prayed in various forms for centuries, and the testimonies of those who have prayed it are remarkable in their consistency: he answers.
Jobs have been found. Houses have been sold. Diagnoses have been reversed. Marriages have been restored. Vocations have been discerned. And in every case, the person who prayed the novena says the same thing: I asked St. Joseph, and he came through.
This novena is most commonly prayed in the nine days leading up to the Feast of St. Joseph on March 19, but it can be prayed at any time of the year for any intention.
How To Pray
Pray each day's prayer for nine consecutive days, followed by the Memorare to St. Joseph and the closing prayer. Bring a specific intention to your heart each day and offer it to St. Joseph with trust.
Day 1 — Joseph Most Just
Opening Prayer:
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Saint Joseph, you are the faithful protector and intercessor of all who love and venerate you. You know that I have confidence in you and that, after Jesus and Mary, I come to you as an example for holiness, for you are especially close to God. Therefore, I humbly commend myself, with all who are dear to me and all that belong to me, to your intercession. I beg of you, by your love for Jesus and Mary, not to abandon me during life and to assist me at the hour of my death.
Guardian of the Word Incarnate, I feel confident that your prayers on my behalf will be graciously heard before the throne of God.
Joseph Most Just: Saint Joseph, you were privileged to share in the mystery of the Incarnation as the foster-father of Jesus. Mary alone was directly connected with the fulfillment of the mystery, in that she gave her consent and allowed the Holy Spirit to form the sacred humanity of Jesus from her flesh. But you were chosen to be the faithful guardian, protector, and companion to this mystery. You watched over it with reverence. Obtain for me the grace to approach the mysteries of God with the same reverence and humility. St. Joseph Most Just, pray for us.
Memorare to St. Joseph:
Remember, O most chaste spouse of the Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who implored your help and sought your intercession were left unassisted. Full of confidence in your power, I fly unto you and beg your protection. Despise not, O guardian of the Redeemer, my humble supplication, but in your bounty, hear and answer me. Amen.
Closing Prayer:
O St. Joseph, whose protection is so great, so strong, so prompt before the throne of God, I place in you all my interests and desires. O St. Joseph, do assist me by your powerful intercession and obtain for me from your divine Son all spiritual blessings through Jesus Christ, our Lord; so that having engaged here below your heavenly power, I may offer my thanksgiving and homage to the most loving of fathers.
O St. Joseph, I never weary contemplating you and Jesus asleep in your arms. I dare not approach while He reposes near your heart. Press Him in my name and kiss His fine head for me, and ask Him to return the kiss when I draw my dying breath. St. Joseph, patron of departing souls, pray for us. Amen.
Day 2 — Joseph Most Faithful
Joseph Most Faithful: Saint Joseph, I honor you as the true husband of Mary. Your marriage was a sacred bond by which you and Mary gave yourselves to each other. No other person so won her esteem, obedience, and love. Obtain for me the grace of faithfulness in every relationship and every duty God has given me. St. Joseph Most Faithful, pray for us.
